Good morning, Mets fans!

Albert Pujols will finish his career out back in St. Louis with a one-year, $2.5 million deal with the Cardinals, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com. The 10-time All-Star last played with the Cards in 2011 before playing 10 seasons with the Angels. He confirmed this will be his last season.

“For me, I think I’m here for a reason,” Pujols told MLB.com. “They believe I can still play this game and they believe I can help this organization win a championship. And myself, I believe in that, too.”
