Cody shared his thoughts on this year’s Mets team, his must watch players from the AL West, some of his favorite memories from his playing career and much more!
Decker, who played in the Mets organization in 2017, spoke about what he finds so fascinating about Mets fans:
“You know how it goes as a Mets fan, I played for the organization for one year and I have understood every Met fan plight in the world, I understand crosstown you have to deal with the Yankees and their fans as well…so here’s a combination of an insult but also a complete compliment to Mets fans…the amount of delusion to them is the BEST, and what I mean by their delusion is every year at the beginning is like ‘we got this guys this is our year!’ but you know in the back of your mind that It’s not the year…this year though, legitimately feels like their year.”
