The Mets go for the sweep of the Twins today as Gabriel Ynoa makes his first major league start. Last night the Mets went to extras and it was Granderson who made the difference, hitting a walk-off homer. With the Cardinals beating the Giants last night at about the same time, the Mets now have a two game lead in the chase against the Cardinals and tied for the first spot with the Giants. Originally deGrom was supposed to make today’s start but he’s been shutdown for the rest of the season.

Lucas Duda is back and starting at first base!
