LHP Jorge De La Rosa (6-7, 5.70) vs. RHP Bartolo Colon (9-5, 3.35)
SNY • WOR 710 AM • ESPN 1050 AM

The Mets lost another tough one last night. Steven Matz didn’t have his best stuff, but he was able to hold the Rockies to just two runs despite giving up what felt like two dozen hits. It didn’t really matter though as the Mets offense was again nowhere to be found. Outside of a solo shot by James Loney, the Mets would get players on base but only to strand them there. Tonight, on Mike Piazza number retirement day, the Mets look to Bartolo Colon to help keep the ship afloat.
