Game Notes

The Mets held their first Old Timers’ Day since 1994 before the game. Numerous former Mets came out to Citi Field to participate.

With Eduardo Escobar returning from the IL, the Mets are planning to keep Brett Baty in the majors and play Escobar against lefties, Mike Puma of the New York Post reported.

Let’s go Mets!
