The Mets are home! After a nine game road trip the Mets return to Citi Field for 9 games. The road was good to the Mets as they went 7-2 and smashed 23 homers over that stretch. Yesterday the Mets had to win without the long ball. They got a strong start from the returning Jacob deGrom and some situational hitting to put the score to win the game 3-2 and complete the sweep.

The Mets have won a franchise-record eight straight games vs. Cincinnati dating to September 7, 2014. The Mets went 7-0 vs. the Reds last year, including 3-0 at Citi Field.

Matt Harvey will receive his 2015 Players’ Choice Award for NL Comeback Player of the Year before Monday’s game vs. the Reds.
