The Mets will close out their series with the Phillies tonight before hopping on a plane and going down the coast to start another weekend with Marlins. Tonight, the Mets are hoping that the Zack Wheeler got the yips out in his last start as he goes against Vince Velasquez.

As a positive, it was great to see Wheeler on the mound again last week. He’s been away for two years with numerous health setbacks. He struggled, but that’s not unexpected at this point. The Mets, and the rest of us, hope that he continues to take strides forward in the right direction tonight.
