The Mets swept the Marlins over the weekend. The Braves swept the Diamondbacks over the weekend. The trade deadline is tomorrow! And the Mets play baseball tonight!

The Mets are playing the Nationals at a very interesting time – the trade deadline. Last year the Nationals had a sell-off and they looked poised to move additional pieces this year before tomorrow’s deadline. As of writing (8:00 AM this morning), no major moves have happened for DC yet. Josh Bell is most likely to be traded (at one point in time, the Mets were looking at him). Then there is Juan Soto. Will the Nationals be moved by a proposal to trade their star? Will Soto stick around to see what a new ownership group can offer him over the winter? How much time will Bell or Soto see on the field tonight? We will get a front row seat to #HugWatch tonight!
