The New York Mets host the Miami Marlins at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie Monday afternoon. RHP Noah Syndergaard gets the start for the Mets and he will be opposed by Severino Gonzalez. First Pitch is at 1:10 PM.
Tim Tebow is in the lineup again, this time playing left field. Last Friday, Terry Collins had said that there were no plans to play him again, but that obviously has changed. The Mets say that he continues to play because they are missing the many players who have gone off to play in the World Baseball Classic.
The game will not be broadcasted on either TV or radio, so Gameday it is. It’s not like I wanted to watch Thor pitch or anything, that’s fine.
