The New York Mets return to Jupiter, Fla. to take on the Miami Marlins on Thursday at 1:05 PM. Jacob deGrom will get the start and will be followed by left-hander Steven Matz for the Mets while the Marlins counter with Jose Fernandez at Roger Dean Stadium.
DeGrom will be pitching for the first time since skipping a start on Monday because of back stiffness, and Yoenis Cespedes returns to the lineup after missing time with a sore hip. Here are the this afternoon’s lineups:
