After the Miami Marlins took the first game of the series on Friday night, the New York Mets will try to rebound on Saturday at Citi Field.
Jonathon Niese (3-5, 4.08) gets the starting assignment for the Mets and will oppose right-hander Tom Koehler (3-3, 3.44 for the Marlins.

Jon Niese is 3-5 on the season over 9 starts and 53.0 innings with a 4.08 ERA. It has been a struggle for Niese as of late. In his last three starts he has pitched 16.0 innings and has allowed 16 earned runs. So far this year he has completely missed the Marlins.
