The Mets had a rough one last night against the Braves as Syndergaard just didn’t have his stuff and the Mets allowed a good amount of runs, but today is a different day as the Mets look to get it done and hold onto the top Wild Card spot.

New York is 9-8 versus the Braves this season. With one more victory, the Mets will have double-digit wins against Atlanta in three consecutive seasons for the first time in team history.

Outfielder Curtis Granderson will be recognized on the field prior to tonight’s game at 6:45 p.m. as the Mets’ 2016 nominee for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award, the most prominent individual player award bestowed by MLB.
