Yesterday’s Game – The New York Mets put on an offensive show in a 11-6 rout of the Miami Marlins. Yoenis Cespedes, Neil Walker and Phillip Evans all homered. The blast by Evans was a grand slam and his second straight day with a home run. Robert Gsellman made his spring debut with two scoreless innings.
Today’s Game – The Mets take on the Houston Astros at First Data Field at 1:10 PM and it will be on SNY. Noah Syndergaard makes his first start of the 2017 Grapefruit League season exactly a month from his Opening Day start. He will be opposed by Charlie Morton for the Astros. Also expected to pitch today are LHP Josh Smoker, LHP Adam Wilk, LHP Jerry Blevins, RHP Rafael Montero and RHP Kevin McGowan.
