- Mason Williams, LF, 1-for-5, 2 SO, .347/.412/.507
The Syracuse offense did just enough on Friday night as it came from behind to force extras to set up a Drew JacksonRBI single to give the Mets a 2-1 win over the RailRiders in 10 innings. Patrick Mazeika came up with the game-tying homer in the eighth to give Syracuse the opportunity in extras.
Makeika had the most impressive stat line for the Mets as he went 2-for-5 on the night. Rehab assignee J.D. Davis did not pick up a hit on the night but did draw two walks in his three plate appearances.

While the Rumble Ponies had a solid 3-run third inning to give themselves an early lead, it was not enough as Binghamton fell 7-3. The Ponies had a tough time getting hits against a stellar Fisher Cats pitching staff, as only one of Binghamton’s four hits occurred outside of the third.

The first and most destructive came in the second inning where Fort Meyers scored seven runs on three hits with starter Franklin Parra being responsible for six of those runs.
However, lefty Brailin Gonzalez proved to be the bright spot in the Mets’ pitching performance as he allowed no hits or runs and struck out two batters in his one inning on the mound.
