All 30 general managers arrived in Florida on Sunday, while two names came off the board early.

The Chicago Cubs agreed to a deal with free agent reliever Brandon Morrow according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports. Bruce Levine of WSCR-AM first reported that a deal between both parties was close. The deal is for two years and in the $10-11 million range annually.

Morrow was lights-out for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017. In 43 2/3 innings and 45 games out of the bullpen, he had a 2.06 ERA, 0.916 WHIP, 1.55 FIP, 0.0 HR/9, 1.9 BB/9, and 10.3 SO/9.

Soon after, it was reported that Luke Gregerson agreed to a two-year $11 million deal with the St. Louis Cardinals per Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Gregerson put up a career-worst 4.57 ERA with the Houston Astros last season. In addition he had a 4.62 FIP, 1.344 WHIP, and 70 strikeouts in 61 innings and 65 appearances.

Cafardo adds that the San Francisco Giants will pursue a third baseman this winter, with Mike Moustakas and Todd Frazier being the two big names, while the San Diego Padres have interest in free agent infielder Zack Cozart and the Colorado Rockies are keeping tabs on first baseman Logan Morrison.

In addition to the Mets who figure to have interest in infielder Josh Harrison, the Blue Jays are also interested in the utilityman’s services, according to Bill Brink of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Houston Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel has hired super agent Scott Boras for his new representation, according to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN. He is set to hit the open market for the first time next offseason.
