The MLB playoffs continues Tuesday night after a one-day break thanks to weather.

The deciding Game 5 of the AL Division Series between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians was postponed Monday night due to weather, and they’ll make the game up Tuesday at 4:07 p.m. The Philadelphia Phillies and San Diego Padres will follow the game with an 8:03 p.m. start time for the regularly scheduled Game 1 of the NL Championship Series in San Diego.

Guardians vs. Yankees, 4:07 p.m., TBS

Tied at two games a piece, the Guardians and Yankees finally get to play their Game 5 matchup Tuesday afternoon. It’ll be the eighth day of the five-game series–a scheduling nightmare for MLB.

However, the extra day off makes a couple of other pitchers available.

Nestor Cortes will start for the Yankees on three days’ rest, his second-consecutive start of that nature. Right now, Aaron Civale will start for the Guardians, though the extra day may allow Shane Bieber to pitch in an all-hands-on-deck situation. The Yankees, prior to Monday’s game, were planning to start Oswaldo Cabrera at shortstop over Isiah Kiner-Falefa–a move many Yankees fans have wanted for months.

The winner of this game will have to travel to Houston overnight and play Game 1 of the ALCS on Wednesday.

Phillies vs. Padres, 8:03 p.m., Fox Sports 1

The Phillies and Padres will kick off the NLCS on Tuesday, as we all expected.

After each team flat out kicked the butts of their NLDS opponents–the Braves and Dodgers, respectively–they’ll square off in a series that features the bottom two Wild Card teams. San Diego has the home-field advantage.

Zack Wheeler and Yu Darvish will start the game.
