The market is picking up for a longtime MLB relief pitcher.

According to MLB Insider Robert Murray, the Washington Nationals, Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins and Houston Astros are in pursuit of right-hander Alex Colome.

Colome, 32, has spent the last two seasons with the Chicago White Sox, after a brief stint with the Seattle Mariners in 2018 and five and a half years with the Tampa Bay Rays.

In the shortened 2020 season, Colome had a 0.81 ERA, 2.97 FIP, 4.26 xFIP, 86.4 percent strand rate and 16 punch outs in 21 games.

During his last full season in 2019, Colome had a 2.80 ERA, 4.08 FIP, 4.61 xFIP, 55 punch outs and 30 saves in 61 innings pitched.

The 32-year-old is a first time free agent and is represented by Republik Sports.
