The Atlanta Braves announced on Friday that they have acquired outfielder Adam Duvall from the Miami Marlins in exchange for catcher Alex Jackson. The club also announced the acquiring of outfielder Eddie Rosario and cash considerations from Cleveland in exchange for infielder Pablo Sandoval.

Duvall is no stranger to Atlanta, having been with the organization from 2019-2021 before being signed to the Marlins as a free agent in February 2021.

In 2019, Duvall batted .267/.315/.567, with a .882 OPS. He hit four doubles, one triple, and 10 RBIs. He also acquired 34 runs and 33 RBIs.

In 2020 he batted .237/.301/.532, with a .833 OPS. He had eight doubles and 16 home runs, acquiring 34 runs scored and 33 RBIs in the COVID-19 shortened season.

This season with the Marlins, he batted .229/.277/.478 with a .755 OPS. He has 10 doubles, one triple, and 22 home runs, with 41 runs scored and 68 RBI’s before being traded back to the Braves on Friday.

Eddie Rosario spent the majority of his career with the Minnesota Twins, from when he was drafted until 2021 when he was signed as a free agent by the Cleveland Indians.

This season with Cleveland, Rosario has batted .254/.296/.389, with a .685 OPS. He has 15 doubles, one triple, seven home runs, 29 runs scored, and 46 RBIs.

With the acquisition of Duvall and Rosario, the Braves have given a boost to their outfield and lineup.
