blood drive

The New York Mets are hosting their annual summer blood drive today at Citi Field, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Foxwoods Club.

Those who donate will receive a voucher for two tickets to a select home game.

Parking is available in lot G off of 126th street, and donors can enter through the Hodges VIP gate at Citi Field.

The drive benefits the New York Blood Center, one of the largest community based, non-profit distributers of blood in the United States.  They work with hospitals that serve more than 20 million people in New York City, Long Island, the Hudson Valley as well as New Jersey and Connecticut.

NYBC’s Vice President Rob Purvis is incredibly grateful for sponsored drives like these.

“We couldn’t do what we do without organizations like the Mets.”
