The Mets announced they have re-signed right-handed reliever Buddy Carlyle to a minor-league deal with a spring-training invite.

Carlyle, 37, had a 1.45 ERA and 0.93 WHIP in 31.0 innings with the Mets last season, striking out 28 and walking five.
