The Aug. 31 trade that saw Todd Frazier reunited with the Mets by way of the Texas Rangers is now complete.

The Mets announced on Twitter Friday that the team has sent minor league reliever Ryder Ryan to the Rangers as the player to be named later from the trade deadline deal.

Ryan, 25, was originally selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 30th round of the 2016 MLB draft. One year later, he was acquired by the Mets in a straight up swap for outfielder Jay Bruce.

The North Carolina native reached as high as Double-A with the Mets back in 2019, where he appeared in 25 games and logged a 3.05 ERA and struck out 40 batters in 44.1 innings pitched.

Ryan was not ranked by MLB Pipeline on the Mets’ top 30 prospects.

Frazier, 34, played in 14 games during his second stint with the Mets in 2020, and had a .224/.255/.388 triple slash with two homers.
