According to Adam Rubin of the Daily News, the Mets have released RHP Josh Fogg.

Fogg, who signed a minor league deal with the Mets in January, did not appear in a Grapefruit League game with the Mets this spring and so he requested his release to give him some time to catch on with another team.

R.A. Dickey is looking more and more like the next pitcher the Mets might cut bait with. Dickey has just a 9.00 ERA in five innings pitched this spring.

Look for the Mets to make some more cuts on Monday, and expect Dickey to be among those in the group.
