The New York Mets have outrighted reliever Jim Henderson and utility infielder and outfielder Eric Campbell, essentially removing them from the 40 man roster and making them both free agents.

Over three seasons with the Mets, Campbell batted .221/.312/.311 in 505 plate appearances with 7 home runs and 44 RBIs.

Campbell, 29, has played six different positions with the Mets including 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, RF and LF. He was also an emergency catcher.

Henderson, 33, appeared in 44 games for the Mets and posted a 4.83 ERA and 1.400 WHIP over 35.0 innings pitched.
