Las Vegas (21-17) 8, Oklahoma City (21-16) 5 Box Score

Gabriel Ynoa moved to 5-0 with his eighth straight quality start, he allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out three. His ERA actually went up to 2.09 which is still good enough for the second lowest in the Pacific Coast League behind the Dodgers phenom Julio Urias and his 1.25 ERA.

Another game and another good offensive performance by T.J. River who had two and knocked in three runs. He now has 34 RBI on the season which leads the league and is second among all Mets minor leaguers. Ty Kelly went 3 for 5 with two runs scored and an RBI, he is hitting .413 for the season which leads all of baseball.

Brandon Nimmo tripled for the first time this year and is hitting .305/.388/.458 in May. Marc Krauss launched his team leading seventh homer of the season.

Josh Edgin and Zack Thornton each turned in scoreless innings out of the bullpen. Edgin has yet to allow a run in 5.2 innings for Las Vegas and has given up only one hit in that span with six strikeouts.

Altoona (21-17) 5, Binghamton (16-20) 1 Box Score

Knuckleballer Mickey Jannis got lit up again, allowing five runs on seven hits in 4.1 innings of work. He fell to 1-3 on the season with a 6.43 ERA and hasn’t picked up a win since his season debut on April 14th.

The B-Mets struggled with runners in scoring position going 1 for 13 on the night in that spot. The lone run on the night came in the sixth inning when Dominic Smith hit an RBI ground out. He was 1 for 4 on the night while picking up his 30th run batted in, which is second best in the Eastern League.

Logan Taylor, Luis Mateo and David Roseboom combined on 4.2 innings of hitless and scoreless relief out of the B-Mets bullpen.

St. Lucie had their game with Clearwater postponed, they will play a doubleheader that starts at 10:30 this morning. Ricky Knapp (3-2, 2.36) and Scarlyn Reyes (2-4, 6.75) will be on the mound for the Mets.

Columbia (20-18) 3, Rome (14-24) 1 Box Score

Fireflies starter P.J. Conlon had his changeup working again in route to 6.2 scoreless innings and improving his season record to 6-0. He allowed only two hits and two walks while striking out seven and lowering his ERA to 1.04 on the year. The 22-year old lefty has now given up just five earned runs in his first 60.1 pro innings.

Third baseman David Thompson knocked in his league leading 38th run with his second triple of the season and Dash Winningham brought him around to score with his 10th double of the year. MMN’S own Al Rabon was at the Fireflies 3-1 victory over Rome, you can read the full recap here.
