Mets Minors Recap: Voit Heating Up for Cyclones

Mitch Voit has played in 10 games for High-A Brooklyn. In his first five, he went 3-for-23 with a double, no walks, and 11 strikeouts. His last five: 7-for-19 with two homers, two doubles, four walks, and four strikeouts. The 2025 first-round pick from the University of Michigan homered Friday in the Cyclones’ 3-2 loss to Daytona.

Hopefully the double is a sign of things to come for Reimer, who has started slow after posting an .870 OPS combined at Binghamton and Brooklyn last season. Serrano was a 2024 fourth-round pick out of NC State who hit seven homers in 383 plate appearances for Brooklyn last season. Vargas stole his fifth base in as many tries. He swiped 40 last year.
