Boscan was having a good season prior to this start. He had given up one run or less in five of his seven starts before this season. Regnault made his Triple-A debut after starting off the season strong in Binghamton. He had a 0.91 WHIP at Double-A before coming up.

The Rumble Ponies only managed six hits in this game but got the run they needed and the pitching took care of the rest. Nido is now hitting .385 his last 10 games and has his OPS up to .765 on the season. Definitely a great sign for the Mets. Mazzilli drove home Nido on a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning.

Beavan made his second start for the Rumble Ponies and it was a dominant one. He only allowed three base runners while recording 22 outs in the game. Taylor came in for a five out save and succeeded. It was his third save on the season.

St. Lucie Mets (25-25) 4, Clearwater Threshers (27-21) 3 Box Score

The St. Lucie Mets won on a walk-off fielder’s choice by Arnaldo Berrios. They loaded the bases with one out on three straight walks. Urena has now hit .231 his last ten games without any home runs.

Church was great for the St. Lucie Mets giving up only two runs in eight dominant innings. Church has now gone at least seven innings in three of his last four outings. Palsha gave up an unearned run due to a fielding error by Alonso. Magliozzi picked up the win for the St. Lucie Mets.

The Fireflies were postponed due to the rain last night.
