Sacramento 12, Las Vegas (5-6) 1

Starter Seth Lugo had a rough night lasting only 2.2 innings and allowing nine runs on ten hits, he fell to 1-2 on the season with a 10.66 ERA. Josh Smoker allowed a run in his inning of work but did strike out three batters.

Dilson Herrera was the offensive star for Las Vegas going 2 for 5 with a double and knocked in the 51s only run. He is now 7 for 19 during his four-game hitting streak. Roger Bernadina extended his hitting streak to seven games with his third double of the season in a 1 for 4 night. Box Score

Akron 7, Binghamton (5-5) 2

Mickey Jannis struggled commanding the knuckler last night and was knocked out after four innings in which he gave up four runs on five hits and three walks. Lefty David Roseboom threw two scoreless innings of relief with one strikeout.

The B-Mets got their first hit of the night in the 6th inning on a RBI triple by L.J. Mazzilli. Dominic Smith was 0 for 4 with two strikeouts the night after hitting his first Double-A homer. Box Score

Charlotte 4, St. Lucie (8-5) 3

Josh Edgin made his fourth rehab appearance pitching a 1-2-3 first inning on just nine pitches. He has now throw four innings and allowed one run on two hits while striking out five.

Amed Rosario had a big night at the plate, going 2 for 3 with a walk, run scored and his league leading fourth triple of the year. He now has a .309/.333/.527 slash line in 13 games this season. Wuilmer Becerra went 2 for 4 with a two-run double, he has five hits and four RBI over his last three games. Box Score

Charleston 7, Columbia (6-7) 0

The Fireflies offense only produced three hits all night and the pitching staff allowed three more homeruns giving them a league high 14 given up this year.

Outfielder Joe Tuschak, first baseman Dash Winningham and shortstop Milton Ramos each had one hit for Columbia. Vinny Siena went 0 for 3 but walked for his league leading 13th time of the season.

Starter Chase Ingram fell to 1-1 with a 2.81 ERA on the season after giving up three earned runs on eight hits in six innings. He struck out five on the night and has 20 in 16 innings to start the year. Box Score
