Las Vegas 5 (2-1), Sacramento 2

The 51s were finally able to get a game in after multiple cancellations with Gabriel Ynoa making his first Triple-A start. He went five innings allowing two runs and struck out four but did not factor into the decision. Chasen Bradford got the win with a scoreless 6th inning while Paul Sewald picked up his first Vegas save with a perfect 9th.

Brandon Nimmo led the 51s offense, going 3 for 4 with a double and the eventual game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 6th. Ty Kelly played left field and went 2 for 4 with two doubles and three RBI out of the leadoff spot. Rene Rivera made his 51s debut behind the plate, he was 1 for 3 with a HBP and two runs scored. Dunedin 4, St. Lucie (3-2) 3

The St. Lucie Mets 9th inning rally fell one run short after scoring three in the inning when Luis Guillorme struck out to end the game as the winning run. Guillorme did reach base three times with two hits and a walk as he continues to play second base to accommodate Amed Rosario. Amed went 1 for 4 with his third stolen base of the year, he is hitting .292 on the young season.

Left fielder John Mora extended his hitting streak to five games with a 2 for 4 night, he is 8 for 21 with four RBI to start the year. Catcher Tomas Nido was 2 for 3 with a walk and a run scored, he has gone 8 for 15 in his first four games.

Scarlyn Reyes struggled in his first start lasting just 5.1 innings allowing three earned runs on four hits and a walk. Kevin McGowan was fantastic in relief, tossed 2.2 scoreless innings with five strikeouts. Here is your full recap. Box Score
