Brandon Nimmo hit a walk-off two-run homer with two out in the twelfth, his second homer of the game. Both of Nimmo’s home runs came off a lefty. They were his 8th and 9th of the season with the 51s. Conforto had three hits off lefties including his home run.

Roseboom allowed a home run in the seventh and eighth for his first blown save. Roseboom allowed his first runs since July 8th, he went 15.1 straight scoreless innings.

The St. Lucie Mets scored three in the second and five in the third.

Vicente Lupo a grand slam in the sixth to give the Fireflies a 7-3 lead, he finished a triple shy of the cycle.

Jimmy Duff allowed the go-ahead two run single in the bottom of the eighth for his first blown save since joining the Fireflies.
