Mitch Voit, the first-round pick (No. 38 overall) from the 2025 MLB Draft out of the University of Michigan, started slow in his first full pro season, but has come on in June. He hit his eighth homer in High-A Brooklyn’s 7-5 loss Thursday to Jersey Shore.

The  21-year-old is slashing .286/.414/.429 this month with two homers, four doubles and 10 RBIs. He has also stolen 11 of 12 bases. He leads the team with 25 steals in 29 tries, which ranks seventh in the South Atlantic League.
