Émilien Pitre and Elian Peña both earned promotions on Sunday, with Pitre to the Syracuse Mets and Peña to the Brooklyn Cyclones. While the Trade Deadline additions continue to perform, the 2026 Draft class does so as well, with 11th-round pick Kuhio Aloy enjoying his first professional multi-homer game.

R.J. Gordon, who was strong in his last start, struggled with his control on Sunday, getting through four innings. Despite only allowing two hits, the righty could not locate consistently. RHP Garrett Stratton will be getting some bullpen sleeper buzz for the 2027 season, posting a 2.35 ERA across two levels while striking out 75 batters and only walking 16 in 53 2/3 innings.

Daviel Hurtado had his longest outing of the season and was excellent, allowing three baserunners while being extremely efficient with his pitches. Elwis Mijares has gone six outing and allowed no runs while striking out nine batters.
