There wasn’t much going for the Syracuse offense as it managed to get just one run across the plate in a 12-1 loss to Buffalo. Khalil Lee led the Mets in hitting as he went 2-for-3 at the plate and was the lone run for Syracuse.

Brandon Drury and Mason Williams made up Syracuse’s other two hits as Williams hit a single in the sixth and Drury grabbed one in the eighth.

After a rough outing by starter Zack Godley, the Mets elected to utilize their bullpen, using four relievers in the game’s final innings. Yennsy Díaz was the most impressive of the bunch as he allowed no runs or hits in his lone inning on the mound while striking out a batter.

Righty Tom Hackimer also had a nice appearance as he allowed no runs and struck out two but did give up two hits and two walks on the mound.
