Jose Siri played in his third rehab game with the St. Lucie Mets on Sunday as he works his way back from a broken leg. The speedster outfielder went 1-for-4 with a broken-bat, two-run double. In his short stint thus far, he’s hitting .500/.625/.667 with a 1.292 OPS. He’s notched three hits, three RBIs and has drawn a walk. Before going down with an injury, Siri was batting .050/.208/.100 with a .308 OPS for the Mets in just 10 games.

Jared Young provided the lone offense for Syracuse with a 3-run double. Rehabbing Mets catcher Francisco Alvarez notched a hit and struck out three times in his first appearance since fracturing his left pinky. He played all nine innings behind the plate as he looks to work back from a sprained UCL ligament in his thumb and the new pinky injury.

The pitching staff was elite on Sunday, combing for a total 11 strikeouts and just three walks.

The Rumble Ponies went 4-for-16 with runners in scoring position, and C Kevin Parada and RF Jefrey De Los Santos notched RBIs as well.

Guevara struggled in his first start with Brooklyn, but the bullpen picked him up the rest of the way, allowing just two earned runs across seven innings.
