Three games at Triple-A for Jefferson Rojas, three home runs. The organization’s top prospect, who was promoted after Double-A Binghamton’s season ended last Sunday, went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a double, three RBIs and three runs scored in a 9-8 win over Lehigh Valley on Thursday that kept Syracuse’s slim playoff hopes alive.
The Mets are 1 1/2 games back of Rochester and Indianapolis, who are tied for first in the second-half standings, with three games to play.

Rojas, 21, is 7-for-12 with seven RBIs at Syracuse. The infielder went deep nine times at Binghamton and hit 15 homers for Double-A Knoxville before he was acquired in the trade that sent Clay Holmes and Tyrone Taylor to the Cubs. His slash line overall for the season is .280/.346/.518. He is the No. 75 prospect in baseball per MLB Pipeline.
