Martinez and Luke Ritter had Brooklyn’s only two hits. Despite the lack of offense, the game was tied at two before Hudson Valley won on a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth.
Jose Martinez continued his rehab assignment. His hit was a line drive to right field that drove in Palmer with the tying run in the eighth inning.
Palmer is now 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts since being promoted to Brooklyn and 26-for-31 (83.9%) overall.

St. Lucie tied Tampa at three in the fourth inning. They didn’t take the lead until Jordan drew a bases-loaded walk in the eighth inning. Ramirez’s double was his twelfth of the year. It was a line drive to right field. Ramirez also stole a base, improving to 14-for-19 (73.7%) on the year.
Kendall’s two hits were an RBI grounder to right and a line drive to center field. He’s 3-for-3 on steal attempts and has a 162 wRC+ through 30 plate appearances.
