The Kingsport team pitched like the franchise, with the bullpen not able to hold the lead. The bullpen gave up two runs in the sixth, and then another in the ninth, and then allowed two runs in the 11th.

Baty hit an opposite field grand slam for his first professional homer. Alvarez was lifted after four plate appearances. Lugo’s having a hard time making contact so far, with nine strikeouts in 21 at bats. LT Struble walked three times out of the leadoff spot.
