With the Mets not playing on Thursday and the minor leagues being in full swing –and potentially the more intriguing watch for some Mets fans right now– we’ve decided to bring you a game chat to talk about the revamped farm system.

All four games can be watched on MiLB tv, which I would highly recommend.

Triple-A: Syracuse (45-63) vs. Scranton-Wilke/Barre (51-56), 6:36 PM

Of course, the storyline to watch for Syracuse is the continued development of Ronny Mauricio and how will Brett Baty respond to his demotion to the minors. Mauricio played the last two games at third base, his first two in the Mets system at the position.

Double-A: Binghamton (53-50) vs. Somerset (60-42)

Minor league ERA leader Tyler Stuart (1.70) takes the mound for Binghamton. The 23-year-old has a 2.16 ERA in his first four Double-A starts following his promotion from Brooklyn. Binghamton and Somerset are tied for the second-half division lead with their 18-16 records.

The top of the Binghamton lineup features arguably their top two prospects, Luisangel Acuña and Drew Gilbert, both of whom were acquired at the trade deadline this year.

High-A: Aberdeen (49-51) vs. Brooklyn (52-51)

Jett Williams had a home run and double on Wednesday night, bringing his Brooklyn OPS up to 1.000 in eight games. In that span, he has more walks (9) than strikeouts (7).

Low-A: Palm Beach (54-47), St. Lucie (35-68)

Utility player Wilfredo Lara has a 1.010 OPs in his last 12 games and the 19-year-old leads the team with 11 home runs.
