Mets Invite Kevin Parada, Alex Ramirez to Major League Camp

The New York Mets announced on Thursday night that they’ve invited the following 15 players to major league spring training camp.

Top Prospects 

• C Kevin Parada – Mets 2022 first rounder
• OF Alex Ramirez – Youngster has been included in most publications top 100 MLB prospects

Minor League Bullpen Arms

• RHP Grant Hartwig – Top 30 prospect after posting 1.75 ERA last season
• RHP Eric Orze
• LHP Josh Walker
• RHP William Woods

Additional Catchers 

• Nick Meyer
• Hayden Senger
• Michael Perez

Outfielders

• Tim Locastro
• DJ Stewart – Mets recently signed to a minor league deal
• Lorenzo Cedrola

The Rest 

• LHP T.J. McFarland
• INF Jonathan Arauz
• RHP Connor Grey

These invitations are in addition to the previous players they signed: OF Abraham Almonte, RHP Tommy Hunter, RHP Zach Muckenhirn, RHP Denyi Reyes, RHP Jimmy Yacabonis, and INF Jose Peraza.

All players on the 40-man roster are automatically given an invitation to big league camp.
