The Mets have hired Chris Zaber as the new vice president of ticket sales.
Zaber has held positions with the Denver Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks, Carolina Panthers, and most recently the Pittsburgh Pirates
The position was previously filled by Leigh Castergine, who was fired and then filed a lawsuit in Federal Court against the Mets in September.
The suit alleges that Mets Chief Operating Officer Jeff Wilpon harassed Leigh and discriminated against her for being pregnant and single, leading to her subsequent dismissal.
