According to James Wagner of The New York Times on Twitter, the Mets and RHP Jeurys Familia have settled on $7.425 million, avoiding arbitration.
Pace Law School projections had Familia getting $7.37 million.
Familia, 27, led major league baseball with 51 saves this past season which also set a new single season franchise record. He has led MLB with 154 regular season appearances over the past two seasons.
Of course, Familia would lose a portion of this contract if we ends up getting suspended by Major League Baseball following his domestic violence case.
