The Mets have won 12 of their last 13 games at Citi Field and an impressive 36-21 overall at home in 2019.

Good news for the Mets as they start Thursday only one and a half games out of the second Wild Card, is that 24 of their final 36 games this season are at home.

One of the biggest reasons for the success at Citi has been J.D. Davis, the third baseman/left fielder has a major league best 203 wRC+ at home. Pete Alonso (158 wRC+), Michael Conforto (152 wRC+), and Jeff McNeil (146 wRC+) have performed well at home for the Mets as well.

As a team offensively, the Mets 11 wRC+ ties them with the Washington Nationals for the second best NL offensive at home in 2019.

On the pitching side at home, Seth Lugo (1.80 ERA), Justin Wilson (1.86 ERA), and Steven Matz (2.07) have led the Mets.

After finishing up their three-game home set with the Indians tonight the Mets have three against the Braves then three with the Cubs at home. They have 17 of 27 September games at Citi Field including their final seven games of the regular season.
