The New York Mets officially announced that Michael Conforto, Kevin Plawecki, Ty Kelly and Gabriel Ynoa will be among their first wave of September call-ups when rosters expand tomorrow.
Once the season ends for the Las Vegas 51s, a few more players are expected to be called up including T.J. Rivera, Rafael Montero and Erik Goeddel.

Rosters expand September 1st and the Mets are ready to bring in some reinforcements as they attempt a run at a postseason berth for the second consecutive year.
Michael Conforto will be back up and “be in the mix” for some playing time as per Terry Collins. Joining Conforto will be Kevin Plawecki, Gabriel Ynoa and Ty Kelly.
Some much needed bodies for a team who continues to play short. As they enter the final four and a half weeks of the season, this will no longer be an issue.
Rosters cannot expand soon enough for this team. A second wave of call-ups are expected upon the conclusion of Las Vegas’ season.
