pix11logoPIX11, Tribune Broadcasting’s NY flagship station, today announced a multi-year contract renewal for the rights to broadcast the New York Mets through 2017.

As part of the terms, both PIX11 in New York and WCCT, Tribune Broadcasting’s Hartford, CT affiliate, will air 25 regular season Mets games and four spring training games each season for three years.

All games will be produced by SNY, with both home and away games available in HD. In addition, all New York Mets games broadcast on PIX11 and WCCT will include SAP and will be Closed-Captioned.

“PIX11 has a long history of local sports coverage and has been the broadcast home of the New York Mets since 1999. We are proud to continue this tradition and partnership. “2015 will be our 10th season broadcasting Mets games to Connecticut viewers,” said Chris Geiger, Vice President and General Manager of WCCT. “We are proud to renew our great partnership with the Mets, and delighted to have the opportunity to serve and engage their loyal Connecticut fan base for three more years.”
