As per a report from Jorge Ebro of El Nuevo Herald, brothers Victor Victor Mesa and Victor Mesa Jr. have made a selection as to which MLB team they’ll be signing with.
The Miami Marlins appear to be signing the Cuban natives and a press conference has been scheduled for 11 a.m. on Monday at Marlins Park in Little Havana. As per Ebro, “executive director Derek Jeter and the president of baseball operations Mike Hill [will] be present.”
The report suggests Victor Victor Mesa, 22, will “receive a bonus of $4 million” and his brother Victor, 17, “[will receive] a figure close to $1 million”.
