Enter Mets righthander Matt Harvey. He’s the one that wants to come back and pitch in September, less than a year removed from Tommy John Surgery – ten months actually. Preposterous, you say? Maybe, maybe not.
How can you argue with a guy who wielded a Louisville Slugger in his crib when he was a baby, while sporting sunglasses and a pacifier?
Harvey tweeted his baby photo on Twitter and said, “Old school picture my mom showed me. Normal people have more than one stuffed animal I had a wood bat.”
Now tell me that’s not freaking awesome?
Looks like he may be running a bit low on the diapers, though…
