After weeks of speculation and halfway-there reports, the Los Angeles Dodgers have officially acquired All-Star third baseman Manny Machado from the Baltimore Orioles.

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic confirmed that the deal will bring five players back to the Orioles in exchange for the 26-year-old, who is a free agent at the end of the season.

Baltimore will be receiving Los Angeles’ fourth-rated prospect in outfielder Yusniel Diaz, their 27th and 28th-ranked prospects, third baseman Rylan Bannon, and right-hander Dean Kremer, respectively, and they will also acquire righty Zach Pop and utility player and Venezuelan native, Breyvic Valera.

According to Jeff Passan of Yahoo, no cash or international bonus pool money will be exchanged.

Machado has a career slash line of .283/.335/.487 with 162 home runs, 471 runs batted in, 197 doubles, a 121 OPS+ and 30.9 wins above replacement (as per Baseball Reference) in 860 career games (six-plus seasons).
