The Mets announced on Friday night that infielder Luis Guillorme has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain. In the corresponding move, the Mets recalled infielder Jose Peraza.
Guillorme, 26, is hitting .333/.478/.333 with five walks and one strikeout over 14 games this season. He’s received four starts on the season, all at third base.
Peraza was sent to the Mets Alternate Site earlier in the day when the Mets recalled lefty reliever Daniel Zamora. Peraza has yet to appear in a game for the Mets after signing a minor league deal with them during the offseason.
