Hi Readers, I hope you like the new look…

We’re not done yet as we continue to work on a few things. Plus we need to get the appearance up to Metsmerized standards. 😉

Adam Rubin of ESPN said in his chat today, that the Mets are planing some tweaks to the uniforms again, and one such change will be removing the black drop shadow.

He says the Mets are looking to reach back and “borrow significantly” from their 1960’s uniforms.

Can I get a Hellz-Yeah!

Maybe that’s the first step to eliminating the black unis altogether especially during home games which is what I have the biggest problem with.

He also reports that the Mets maybe showing off a new patch on their uniforms to celebrate 50 Years of Amazin Baseball!

By the way, that’s a mock 2013 Mets All Star Patch I designed about a year ago and you can see more of them here.

Finally, how many of you are ready for a return of Banner Day?

Guess what, our buddy Adam says that might happen in 2012 too.

This is all good stuff!

I’m looking forward to all of it next season and no matter which 25 players take the field every season, I’ll be rooting hard for all of them like I do every year…

Lets Go Mets!
