Get it? Okay, anyway. According to Espn.com, the Mets have announced that Billy Wagner has been activated from the disabled list. To make room for Wagner, the Mets have released pitcher Livan Hernandez.

Hernandez was 7-8 with a 5.47 ERA. Hernandez started the year off strong, but since July 3rd at Philadelphia, he really hasn’t shown the Mets much.

You know, the one thing I could never stand about him was how he never seemed to care on the mound. He’s very much like El Duque in a sense that they can just throw all day. The big difference was, Duque showed emotion, and didn’t look like he was out there just to collect a paycheck.

Hernandez was scheduled to start on Saturday against Philadelphia versus J.A. Happ.
