Cano Suspended 80 Games For Violating Joint Drug Agreement
According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, Seattle Mariners’ second baseman Robinson Cano will be suspended for 80 games for violating the league’s joint drug agreement. As per Jon Heyman of FRS Baseball, the suspension is due to PED use. Heyman adds that the Cano suspension is for a diuretic (furosemide), which is seen as a masking agent.
